Moving between properties in Dartford borough:
If you move from one Dartford borough address to another, you will be charged for your old address up to the day before you move and for your new address from the day you move in.
If your household has stayed the same you will keep your existing council tax account number. We will send you a closing bill for your old property showing any amount still due and a bill for your new property showing your new instalments and any credit that has been transferred from your old property.

We will charge you from the date you moved into your new home. Your old council will charge you up to the date you left their area.

Please tell us as soon as possible. You must also tell your new council that you are moving in. We will charge you up to the date you move from your old home. Your new council will charge you from the day you move into their area.
