2009 Southern Regional Winner of the "Greenest Market Competition"
Dartford has a fantastic tradition of hosting markets and as well as holding traditional weekly markets on Thursdays and Saturdays a number of speciality markets including French, Italian and Farmers Markets are taking place throughout the year.
Our regular markets...

There is a wide range of goods on sale including fresh fish and shellfish as well as several food and drink concessions for those who want some refreshment whilst shopping.
The Saturday Market
is held in Dartford High Street from 9am to 5pm and is extremely popular with shoppers and traders.
It is smaller than the Thursday Market with about 100 stalls, but also sells a large selection of goods.
Typical items available at Dartford Markets:
- Food - fruit & greengrocery, frozen foods, fresh meat, fresh fish and shellfish, groceries, sweets
- Fashion - mens, ladies & childrens' clothes, sportswear, shoes, trainers, accessories
