Maps are available in three scales 1:500, 1:1250 & 1:2500. We recommend that you use 1:1250 for the majority of applications (1:2500 in rural areas).

Aerial photographs are also available to purchase at each of these scales for the same location. You will be sent six copies of each map by e-mail attachment (PDF) or by post.

If you have queries please contact our planning reception: 01322 343203. Maps can be ordered at our Planning Reception in the Civic Centre, Home Gardens, Dartford, DA1 1DR.

If you encounter technical faults with the planning site during the order process please contact Getmapping.

The support contact number is 01252 845444 and is open Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays, from 9am to 5:30pm.

Ordnance Survey Map Return Scheme

The Ordnance Survey Map Return Scheme allowed the Council to supply extracts of OS Mapping for planning application purposes.

The Map Return Scheme was abolished and ceased on the 30th September 2007. As a result from 1st October all Local Authorities had to procure their mapping extracts from a Licensed OS partner.
