Dartford Festival
Provided for the community by Dartford Borough Council the Dartford Festival has become the largest free event in the South East of England. Taking place in Dartford's Central Park, the weekend's attractions include a great selection of music, children's rides, funfair, trade and charity stalls and a fantastic range of family entertainment.

Summer Sizzlers 
Dartford Borough Council provides a programme of summer activities for local young people. We work closely with the organisers, helpers, coaches and performers to provide a wide variety of events.
Summer Shakespeare
Richard III
Following the success of last year’s Summer Shakespeare event in Dartford’s Central Park, the Changeling Theatre will be returning to put on a performance of Richard III.
The performance will take place on Friday 2 August.
Tickets for the performance will be available in June.
Autumn
Dartford Heritage Open Days
Dartford's Heritage Open Days invite residents to enjoy some of the Borough's more intriguing buildings as they open their doors to visitors.
This year's event will take place from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 September 2013.
Winter
Christmas Lights Switch On
2012's 'Dartford's Big Christmas Switch-On' event was bigger and better than ever before and took place on Saturday 17 November.
