Safe Dartford & Safe Gravesham

Dartford and Gravesham are safe places to live, work and socialise. Community Safety Units (CSU) have been created in both Boroughs under the banners of ‘Safe Dartford’ and ‘Safe Gravesham’. The CSUs are located within each Borough's Civic Centre where Police and Council staff work together.

We tackle anti-social behaviour in each Borough and work to improve the residents' quality of life by pulling together organisations involved in community safety and by working in partnership effectively.

Our Partnership

It is the job of the Dartford & Gravesham Community Safety Partnership (CSP) and its Community Safety Units to tackle anti-social behaviour, reduce crime and the fear of crime, the harm caused by drugs and alcohol and to deal with the concerns raised by our communities.

Justice Seen - Justice Done

Dartford's central park was given a litter pick around the skateboard area and river bank after a visit by Community Payback on 29th July. Ten bags of rubbish were collected in that immediate area by low level offenders that have been sentenced to community service by the Courts

The offenders, easily identified by the hi viz jackets, spent the morning in the park clearing up

As part of an ongoing commitment to both Dartford and Gravesham, Community Payback will be seen around North Kent on regular basis
