Parks Rangers
The Parks Ranger Team consists of one Senior Ranger and two part time Rangers. The team regularly patrols a variety of sites within the Borough.
The main sites include: Dartford Heath, Central Park, Hesketh Park and Darenth Country Park.

In partnership with DBC enforcement team and Police, they carry out patrolling to deter anti social behaviour, graffiti and other activities that affect legitimate users of the parks and open spaces.
They are often seen dealing with motorcycles and quad bikes that misuse the Heath and open spaces. They provide a reassuring presence, patrolling on foot in their high visibility coats.
They are equipped with the latest “head cameras” that enable them to record evidence for later use in Court when required. Their vehicles are also fitted with mobile CCTV. They are also linked by radio to the Dartford Town against Crime radio system.
