Council Tax
You can pay your Council Tax by Direct Debit and need never worry about your Council Tax instalments again. There are no cheques to write, no paperwork or postage and no queuing.
You can choose between two payment dates, either the 1st or 15th. If the amounts to be paid or the payment dates change, Dartford Borough Council will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.
Business rates
Business Rates, (also known as Non-Domestic Rates), collected by local Councils are the means by which businesses and other occupiers of non-domestic property make a contribution towards the cost of local services
Rent (for council housing tenants)
The is due on Monday of every week. As long as you pay in advance you can pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
The rent you have to pay each year is calculated over 48 or 49 weeks of the year. There are 4 free weeks when no rent is due.
