Drainage queries for properties of all ages should be referred to the water company to which you pay sewerage rates. If you are in doubt as to which company this is, check the accounts you receive.
The downloadable leaflet above should provide all the advice needed if you are carrying out work which affects an existing drain or sewer, or if there is a blockage or defect.
If you feel that you are not receiving the service you require from the water company please make contact with them directly. If you wish to make a complaint, follow the company’s procedures.
