The Register of Electors, can be viewed by members of the public at the Civic Centre, Home Gardens, Dartford.
Only those named on this register are eligible to vote in elections.
'Rolling Registration' of Electors
Rolling Registration permits certain changes to be made to the register during the period 1st December to August .
Between August and November the annual canvass of electors also takes place, checking household's electoral status as at 15th October. The canvass returns are used to create an updated register every year. This is published on 1st December each year.

Registering as an elector is not linked in any way to paying Council Tax, receiving council benefits or any other council service. The onus is on each of us to ensure that our registration as an elector is up to date and accurate.
Remember: You can only vote if you appear on the Register of Electors. Also, not registering may affect your credit reference status.

Keeping the voters list accurate
If you move into or within the borough at any time, please contact the Electoral Registration office on (01322) 343426 or email electoral.registration@dartford.gov.uk for a Register of Electors claim form. Give details of your previous address where applicable. Please sign, date and return the form in the Reply Paid envelope supplied as soon as possible.
