Dartford Heritage Open Days 11-14 September 2008
Residents can explore the heritage of some of Dartford’s most famous and intriguing sites in a special series of open days this September.
It is the third year the borough’s buildings and sites have been opened up to the public to celebrate the local heritage and this year includes an exclusive opportunity to have a guided tour of the Mayor's Chamber in the Civic Centre.
Residents can also visit Hawley Manor Dovecote and Ice house.
The heritage days, running from 11 to 14 September are featuring a range of the borough’s most exciting areas which include visits to Acacia Hall, tours of Manor Gatehouse and a walk through Swanscombe Heritage park.
Other buildings, walks and talks by specialists are also included in the events.
