Exciting Projects - Princes ParkLife is changing in Dartford as a wave of exciting projects hit the borough - from a £94 million revamp of the Town Centre to a stunning 4,097 capacity football stadium at Princes Park the transformation of the borough is well and truly underway.

Town Centre

The town centre is to be revitalised in a £94 million regeneration project – restoring Dartford’s reputation as a major retail and leisure centre. This includes the key initiative at Lowfield Street and plans to return Central Park to its Edwardian splendour.

Princes Park Community Stadium

Princes Park Community Stadium will see the return of Dartford Football Club after a 14 year absence from the borough. The fantastic £6.5 million facility includes banqueting for up to 250 alongside meeting rooms and a bar.

Dartford Dojo

The state-of-the-art Dartford Judo Centre is one of the most impressive judo facilities outside of Japan.  The £4.5 million centre is set to play a key role in the build up to Beijing 2008 and London 2012.

The Bridge

Work on 'The Bridge' – a new community designed by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway is already underway and will create new neighbourhoods linked to a ‘school of the future’ around public open spaces and centres of employment.

Fastrack

Fastrack is an innovative transport system linking key destinations between Dartford Town Centre and Gravesend Town Centre. The high-speed luxury buses run every 10 minutes and operate on a dedicated network of roads.

Ebbsfleet Valley

Ebbsfleet Valley is the largest regeneration project in Kent Thameside, encompassing 420 hectares (1,038 acres) of brownfield land on the important regeneration axis linking Bluewater to the west and the new Ebbsfleet International station to the east.

International station

Ebbsfleet will bring the continent closer to Dartford providing rail links across Europe. The cosmopolitan development will include homes as well as jobs.

Ingress Park

The award winning, Ingress Park, is a beautiful riverside development. It is a fine example of quality design and architecture which transformed a former paper mill site in Greenhithe into a living breathing community.
