Record breaking crowds thronged Festival 2009

Flatley fever strikes festival!

Despite a few rain showers, the Dartford Festival was as popular as ever in 2009 (with around 53,000 visitors!) with Lemar, S Club Party and Britain's Got Talent acts performing over 18-19 July.

Stavros Flatley pulled in record crowds on Sunday afternoon, treating the audience to their trademark Irish dancing with a Greek twist!

As well as acts on two stages, there was a wide range of community, charity and commercial stalls and 'have a go' activities including football, canoeing and scuba diving - offering something for everyone!

Thanks to everyone who was involved in making this year's festival such a huge sucess, visitors and organisers alike!
