The traditional marathon distance of 26 miles 385 yards will be run as a baton relay in 422 x 100m legs. The attempt will start at 2.30pm, and should therefore reach its climax shortly before 4.30pm. Club runners of all ages and abilities are paying to take part, and festival goers are welcome into the track grounds to give their support. There will be lung function testing trackside for the general public by qualified nurses and physiologists in return for a small donation. Please come and show your support for the runners and this very worthwhile charity
