Ron’s a handy man to have around
Residents in supported housing schemes can now make use of Ron the ‘Handy-Man’ to get all those difficult little jobs done around their home for which the Council isn’t responsible.
Ron’s labour is free for jobs such as putting up curtain rails, a shelf or replacing light bulbs. All residents need to do is supply the materials needed.
Ron visits each scheme for one morning per week, from 8.30 to 12.30 in rotation.
Residents can book an appointment through a Supported Housing Officer or through the usual repairs number 01322 343800.
Any ordinary repairs needed for the upkeep of the property still need to be reported in the usual way.
