We’re calling on residents to nominate the shining stars in their area so that they can be recognised for their dedication, hard work and sense of community. For the second year running, we're hoping to bring to light the dedicated people who are working within their communities making things better for those around them. For the majority, these people are unpaid volunteers who give up their time to help make a difference. The closing date for this year’s nominations is 1 February 2010 and you can place your nomination using the form below. For a paper copy of the form please call 01322 343841 for one to be sent to you. The winner will be someone who goes beyond their call of duty, giving up their spare time to make their community a place where people want to live.
They could be involved in a residents/community group, fund raising, delivering community projects – the list is endless.
