Calling all marathon men and women, now is the time to dust off those running shoes and get training for the 33rd Dartford Half Marathon which takes place on Sunday 19th July 2009, the weekend of the Dartford Festival. The North Kent Walking Festival kicks off this weekend, Sunday, 17 May, offering the chance to explore and learn about your local area. The festival runs until the end of June and includes more than 100 guided walks in coastal locations, countryside and historic towns, with at least one walk taking place every day.
