Calling all budding entrepreneurs!

Dartford Borough Council is offering budding entrepreneurs the chance to trial their business on a market stall for free!
Dartford’s markets are hugely successful and have a Charter dating from the reign of King James I. Today the busy and bustling traditional Thursday and Saturday markets draw people to the town centre, along with the new Sunday and specialist markets.
As part of Dartford’s role as a Portas Town, the Council is inviting people with a great business idea to make it a reality and trade from a stall in one of the town’s markets.
For a few weeks, the Council will take care of all the admin and market costs so all the trader needs to do is turn up and sell, sell, sell!
Councillor Jeremy Kite, Leader of the Council, said, “It’s great to be able to help local people take the first step to making their business vision a reality. After all, some of Britain’s biggest retailers, such as Marks & Spencer, started life as a small market stall so who knows where this could lead?”
