New Councillor for Princes Ward
Patrick Kelly from the Labour party won the Princes Ward By-Election on Thursday 21 February.
He was elected as a Borough Councillor with 50% of the vote. The Conservative candidate, Jean Shippam came in second with 29.4%. The turnout was 26.58%.
The new political make up of the council is:
Conservative – 26
Labour – 12
Swanscombe and Greenhithe Residents Association – 6
