Dartford Borough Council experts help Bluewater spread the message about safety…
Experts from the Council’s Health & Safety team will be participating in Bluewater’s Safety Weeks from Monday 26th July – Friday 30th July. As part of the shopping destination’s continuing commitment to the safety and wellbeing of its customers and visitors, it is working with partners to get the message about safety out into the wider community.
Dartford Borough Council’s safety team will be in Bluewater’s Lower Thames Walk, adjacent to the Water Circus (26 – 30th July 2010) promoting the Safety in Action campaign. They will be providing advice and on hand to answer questions across a range of safety matters.
Cllr Steve Brown, Portfolio Holder for Service Excellence and Customer Champion at Dartford Borough Council, commented:
“We are pleased that Bluewater has made a strong commitment to the health and safety of their customers and visitors, with the introduction of the Safety Weeks. It’s a fantastic initiative and a great way of creating greater awareness with people of all ages, and by working with the Council’s safety team experts to highlight a wide range of safety issues from food preparation and storage to avoiding slips and trips around the home”.
