Public Access for Planning is our online service that provides details of current and historic planning applications.
The Planning service in Dartford is responsible for Planning Policy and Development Control. Planning Policy is about preparing documents for the future development of the Borough, known as the Local Development Framework. Development Control deals primarily with the processing of planning applications.
On these pages, you will be able to view planning applications online and comment on them, look at the weekly list of applications received, find out the rules for whether permission is required, find out what you need to make an application or an appeal if permission is refused and how we deal with enforcement.
Most planning applications are decided by officers but some cases that attract a lot of interest are decided by the elected Councillors on the Development Control Board.
