Kent Thameside Strategic Transport Programme and Tariff
Town and Country Planning (Local Development)(England) Regulations 2004 - Regulation 25 Consultation
As part of our informal consultation, leading to the preparation of the Core Strategy, we are interested in hearing your views on a proposal for securing a long-term programme of transport investment for Kent Thameside - those parts of Dartford and Gravesham which are north of the A2 and designated by the Government as an area for growth.
A specific issue that is being consulted on is a proposal to levy a tariff of £5,000 per home for strategic transport investment whenever planning permission is granted for residential development.
This consultation has now finished. It took place from 30th August until 27th September 2007.
Gravesham Borough Council will also be conducting consultations on this same issue and, if you are one of their consultees, they may be contacting you separately at a later date. Dartford and Gravesham Councils will be sharing their respective consultation responses and formulating a joing policy, so you need only respond to one of the consultations.
