Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) and Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA)

The Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment and Strategic Housing Market Assessment are a fundamental part of the evidence base underpinning Dartford's Core Strategy.
The Strategic Housing Land Assessment identifies potential development sites in the Borough and assesses their suitability and potential to deliver housing within the next 15 years.
The Strategic Housing Market Assessment considers the recent performance of the housing market in Dartford and surrounding areas and assesses future housing market drivers, including demographic change and housing need and demand.
You are invited to comment on the methodology and contents of the two studies and/or specific sites identified within the SHLAA. The consultation period takes place between:
Monday 2nd November and Friday 27th November
