Stone House Hospital Site

Draft Development Framework

Dartford Borough Council, working jointly with English Partnerships, the Government’s regeneration agency, has prepared a Development Framework to guide the re-use of the former Stone House Hospital site.

The former hospital site has already been identified by the Council as a suitable location for housing.

The Development Framework provides detailed guidance on how the site can be brought back into use.  The guidance seeks the retention and conversion of heritage buildings and additional buildings on the site which will be sympathetic to and complement the historic buildings.

The development is to connect with existing communities through new green links and routes, providing access for all to the site’s mature landscape setting and open spaces.

This consultation has now finished. It ran from 12th November to 24th December 2007
