Playing Pitch Study: Groundwork Kent Thames-side’s Technical Report and Recommendations
A Playing Pitch Study has been undertaken for the Borough of Dartford, as part of the background research for the Local Development Framework. Groundwork Kent Thames-side and Sport England have been assisting the Council with the preparation of the Study.
The Playing Pitch Study shows the results of a quantitative audit and quality assessment of playing pitches across the Borough. It determines the current and future supply of, and demand for playing pitches, focussing on cricket, football, hockey and rugby union pitches.
The Playing Pitch Study was approved by Cabinet on 23 March 2006 as a technical research document to inform the preparation of policies in the Local Development Framework.
