Obstruction of driveways
- Dropped kerbs identify access to driveways from the carriageway (typically) across a footway.
Cars parked across these can be issued a Fixed Penalty Notice by Kent Police for obstruction.

Dartford Borough Council’s Civil Enforcement Officers may issue a Penalty Charge Notice if the driveway is protected by a yellow line restriction (telephone 01322 343434 to report the contravention).
In either case, the officer issuing the ‘fine’ must witness the vehicle causing the offence/contravention.
