MUM'S THE WORD
UK Tour 2008

Five women …five stories…one common thread…a hilarious and intimate look at motherhood.

Mum’s The Word has played four record-breaking UK tours and a West End run and the award-winning, sell-out theatrical phenomenon is on the road again, liberating, enlightening and educating, but mainly just washing the secret, funny, dirty laundry of motherhood in public for the very first time.

The all-star cast features Bernie Nolan– star of Brookside and The Bill – Sarah White ( Brookside) and Pauline Fleming ( Coronation Street).

This award-winning production has received critical acclaim and attracted sell-out audiences throughout Australia, Canada, and across Europe. UK audiences have loved every minute of the show which the press claim “should be sponsored by the NHS”.

“Every day I start out Mary Poppins but I end up Cruella DeVil”

“I find it much easier to be a good mum in public.”

“Some mornings when I am desperate for more sleep, I lie to my husband about how many times I got up in the night with the baby.”
