HOW TO BOOK ONLINE

Up to ten tickets per performance can be purchased via the Orchard Theatre’s secure 24 hour On-Line service at www.orchardtheatre.co.uk usingSolo, Visa Electron, Switch /Maestro, Delta, Visa or Mastercard. Follow the links to the show or event and click the “Book Now” button.If you are new to Orchard Theatre Online booking, you will need to provide us with your personal details so that we can process your booking ­ it only takes a couple of minutes and you only have to do it once! Tickets are normally despatched on the next available working day by first class post, which is currently free of charge to Internet bookers.

Alternatively tickets can be collected from the Box Office with the original purchasing credit/debit card as proof of purchase. Please note that not all performances or ticket prices are available via the On-Line service. Group Bookers requiring more than ten seats, Disabled Assistance and Premiere Members should contact the Box Office on 01322 220000 or via Email at Orchard.boxoffice@dartford.gov.uk

The Council hosts the secure server which your computer will be communicating with when you select our booking system. You can check that your communications are secure with us by checking that the security symbol ( normally a padlock ) is visible on your Web Browser . The security is provided by VeriSign an industry leader in Internet security systems. Once you have completed the On-Line registration you will receive an Email confirmation into the Email account you entered into the form. The Email process is part of our security procedures to protect your information and give you secure access to your account with us, you should ensure that you keep your log in details safe. Please note that the Account is based on the Email address and therefore it is only possible to have one account holder for each Email address even if several people share the same Email address.

From the Orchard Theatre Website home page ­ click on the event you wish to book from either the list or from one of the images, this will open the detailed information about the event ­ Click the “Book Now” button.

CHOOSE A PERFORMANCE
If the event chosen has more than one performance you will need to select the date and time of performance using the drop down selection box. Expand the list by clicking on the arrow head to the right of the first performance date, then click on the desired selection to highlight it. Click the “Continue Button”

SELECT YOUR PREFERRED SEATING AREA
The Theatre seating is divided into three areas ­ Stalls on the ground floor nearest to the stage - the Circle to the rear of and above the Stalls ­ The Upper Circle on the top floor above the Circle. There is a small graphical chart on the screen which depicts the layout of the auditorium. If you would like to see a more detailed plan of the seating areas, please click the link. If you would like more information on Access to the auditorium please click the “Access information” button. Select your preferred seating area from the drop down selection box. Expand the list by clicking on the arrow head to the right of the highlighted area, then click on the desired selection to highlight it. Click the “Continue Button”. Please note that not all of the seats are available to Internet Bookers.

PRICE SELECTION
Click into the white box under the “Number of Seats column” and enter the number of seats you require. If the performance and seating area has more than one standard price available or there are concessions such as “Child” or “Over 60” you will be able to specify the number of seats required at each price. Please refer to the conditions of sale regarding eligibility criteria for concession discounts. Please note that not all of the prices or concessions may be available to Internet Bookers and any special Internet discounts would not be available to Box Office customers. Click the “Continue ” button.

SEAT SELECTION
Once you have entered the number of seats at each price and clicked the “Continue” button, the system will search for the best available seats at the price/area option selected. If you have specific seating needs please contact the Box Office on 01322 220000, who will be able to advise you on the most suitable seats available and take your booking over the phone. The system may not be able to find seats available based on the options selected. This is because other customers have held seats and are in the process of confirming or cancelling their selection. You can either select the “Back” option button and change your selection or try the same options later.

CONFIRM YOUR ORDER
Each time you have selected an event, date & time, seating area and the number of seats required the system will find the best available seats and present each of your selections as a list. You can amend any of the items in the list by clicking on the words “Change” or “Remove” alongside the appropriate item or remove all the items by clicking on “Remove all items”.

DESPATCH METHODS
Below the items you have selected you will be given the choice* of either receiving your tickets by first class post, or collecting them from the Box Office before or on the day of the event. Click in the small circle to the left of your preferred option and click “Continue to payment” button.
]*Tickets can only be posted to the purchaser’s address where the payment card is registered. This option is not available for tickets booked within seven days of the first event.
*To collect tickets from the box office, you will either need to present your payment card used for the booking, or a copy of the Email confirmation we will send you when you have completed your booking On line with a photo ID.

USER LOG-IN
Once you have selected the events and seats that you would like to order, you will be presented with the User Log-In screen. If you have previously registered with us as an Internet Customer, simply enter your Email address and password and click the “Log On” button. If you have not previously registered with us as an Internet Customer please click “New Customer details”.

NEW CUTOMER DETAILS
If you are new to Orchard Theatre Online booking, you will need to provide us with your personal details so that we can process your booking - it only takes a couple of minutes and you only have to do it once!Complete each of the boxes related to your personal information. We require all those items that are underlined to be completed correctly to be able to process your booking. If you would like to receive regular information about future events please click in the Data Protection box. You can define what you would like to receive from us by clicking in each of Interest category boxes. Once you have completed the New Customer Details form and checked that it is correct click “Continue”. If completed successfully the screen will change to a confirmation message and you should receive an Email confirmation into the Email account you entered into the form. The Email process is part of our security procedures to protect your information and give you secure access to your account with us, you should ensure that you keep your log in details safe. You will need the details from the Email to progress the booking. Click “Continue” and you will be directed back to Payment Log On screen. In the Existing Customers section enter your Email address and the password provided from our Email confirmation to you. Click “Log On”. You will now be prompted to change your password to something that is more memorable, which must contain at least six digits. Once you have entered the password in both boxes click “Continue”, an acknowledgement of completing the registration process will be displayed click “Log On Now” and you will be presented with your personal and current order details. You have now successfully registered with the Orchard Theatre On-Line booking system, you can use your Email address and Password for future bookings without the need to provide your personal details. You can amend your details at any time by logging on to your account. Please note that the Account is based on the Email address and therefore it is only possible to have one account holder for each Email address even if several people share the same Email address.

EXISTING CUSTOMER LOG ON
If you have previously registered with the Orchard Theatre On-Line booking system, you can simply enter your Email address and Password to access and amend your account details or process the booking selected. Once the Email address and Password have been entered click “Log On”. If you have forgotten your password click the link and we will Email it to you.

CONFIRMING YOUR ORDER
Once you have moved through the Log On process you will be presented with your personal contact details and the items you have selected with a total cost in GBP( Pounds Sterling £) of your order. You can either go “Back” to add more events, “Change your details” or “Confirm and Book” to proceed to the payment screen, using the appropriate buttons.

PAYMENT
Once you have confirmed your booking you will be presented with the Payment screen. Please see above for security information. We accept the following card types-Solo, Visa Electron, Switch /Maestro, Delta, Visa or Mastercard.
On the Payment screen please enter your:
Credit or Debit Card Number
which are the large numbers embossed across the centre of the front of the card, please do not include spaces between the numbers.
Name on the Card
This should be entered exactly as it appears on the card.
Card Security Number
Enter the last three digits of the card security number, which is the sequence of numbers printed over the signature strip on the reverse of the Card.
Expiry Date
Enter the expiry date detailed on the card, the month number (MM) in the first box as the following example ( 04 or 12 ). Followed by the Year (YY) as the following example (06 or 17) in the second box.
Start Date
Enter the start date detailed on the card, the month number (MM) in the first box as the following example ( 04 or 12 ). Followed by the Year (YY) as the following example (06 or 17) in the second box.
Issue Number
If your card has an issue number please enter this in the box provided. Some credit and debit cards do not have an issue number such as Delta, Visa or Mastercard.

CONDITIONS OF SALE
You must agree to our conditions of sale before we will accept your booking and receive payment from you. Click to highlight the tick box provided. You can view our “conditions of sale” by clicking on the text.
Once you have entered and checked the required payment details click the “Make Payment” button only once. Depending on the speed of your system and the type of connection you use the payment will be processed fairly quickly and you will see the payment confirmation screen.
If you click the “Make Payment” button more than once the system may charge you twice. If you believe this has happened please contact our Box Office on 01322 220000, who will be able to rectify the error.

TRANSACTION CONFIRMATION
Once your order and payment have been processed you will see the order confirmation screen. Please note the Booking Reference number, which will be required if you need to discuss your booking with the Box Office. You will also receive a confirmation Email detailing your transaction. If you are collecting your tickets from the Box Office you will need to quote the Booking reference number and either present the payment card used for the booking or a copy of the Email and independent photo ID (passport or Driving licence). Tickets posted normally take between one to three working days, if you haven’t received them within a week please contact the Box Office on 01322 220000 or via Email at Orchard.boxoffice@dartford.gov.uk

TICKET INSURANCE
We are able to offer ticket cancellation insurance at the cost of £1.50 per ticket with Allianz Cornhill Insurance; this covers patrons who cannot make a performance due to unexpected illness an accident or failure of transport. Ticket Insurance is currently not available via our On-Line service, please call the Box Office on 01322 220000 to make your Insured booking. To see the policy details click here
