Temple Hill Community Centre, situated in Temple Hill Square adjacent to a public car park, is a large airy building with security CCTV, air conditioning, big screen and projector and a fully functioning disco ball and lights. The Centre is equipped for corporate functions (conferences and training sessions) as well as social events such as family parties, wedding receptions, film nights, community lunches, discos and any other social events local members of the community would like to facilitate.
The Centre has a large hall that holds up to 170 seated guests, with a full size stage and bar area. It also has a completely separate comfortable lounge, which seats an additional 40 guests and is equipped with its own screen, as well as an ample sized kitchen to self-cater for all your needs.
The Community Centre is managed by Dartford Borough Council and is available for hire at very reasonable rates. Please note that late bookings are not available, and bookings can therefore only be accepted if they are confirmed and paid for in full at least 10 working days prior to the proposed hire date.
The cost of hiring the centre varies depending on the time of day, the day of the week and the purpose of the hire. There are different rates for social events, commercial events and community events. Click the links above to see the rates that are appropriate for you.
Please note:
The community centre is not suitable for the use of bouncy castles or any other form of inflatable entertainment. Please do not book these for your hire of the centre as permission to bring them into the centre will be refused at the door and any unauthorised use will result in your hire session being immediately terminated.
Crockery, cutlery and glassware are not provided. If you are catering, please ensure you bring your own.
