Appeals against tree preservation orders
Appeals are made to the Secretary of State. This must be done so, in writing, within 28 days, to the Planning Inspectorate, Environment Appeals, 3H Hawk Wing, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6PN Contact: email@example.com
The Secretary of State has power to allow a longer period for lodging an appeal but he will not normally be prepared to do so unless there are special reasons for the delay in lodging the appeal.
The Case Officer who dealt with your application will be able to advise further on the appeal process if necessary.

If you suffer any loss or damage as a result of your refusal of consent, in limited circumstances you may be entitled to recover compensation from the Council.
