Town Tent

We are pleased to announce the Town Tent will make a return at this year’s Festival. The Tent is inspired by local businesses and designed to improve overall awareness of the great things that are happening in the town and to promote some of our traders. Sponsors include:

  • The Priory Shopping Centre are hosting a Festival photo booth with photos going into an online competition to win a picnic hamper full of goodies!
  • The Orchards Shopping Centre are bringing along The Gym for some great activities, Miss Perfect for ladies fashion and Aldi for a range of fantastic offers. Keep your eyes peeled for vouchers and giveaways.
  • Dartford Borough Council will be handing out Festival programmes and officers will be on hand to provide an update on the planned changes to Market Street.
    Dartford Living will have their own stall.

Dartford Valley RFC

Dartford Valley Rugby Football Club will be providing sessions for all age groups ranging from 3 years to adults, plus some public participation in a game of tag rugby and a few fun games along the way! They will also be displaying the designs for the brand new Clubhouse which will be located at Stone Lodge.

Dartford Football Club

Dartford Football Club will be running a ‘beat the goalie’ competition where you can test your skills, and sheer luck, to amount
the best score possible.

Play Place Innov8 CIC

A FREE fun area for children and young people delivered by Play Place Innov8 CIC (a community interest company) who also provide a range of KCC funded youth services across Dartford. The Youth area will include Nerf Challenge, Soft Archery, crafts, games and sports as well as our popular Sumo Suits challenge! A free raffle prize draw for all entries to the area! Open daily 1pm to 5pm.

Health Checks Stall

FREE NHS Health Check consisting of: BMI, blood pressure check, cholesterol check (NHS Health Check Eligibility criteria applies).
FREE MOT via a Health Trainer for those who do not qualify for a Full Health check.
Health Promotional Advice and Leaflet.
Smoothie Bike - This very popular activity encourages children, accompanied by parents, to make their own FREE smoothies.

Arts in the Park

Why not pop in to the Arts Marquee. This year the Arts tent will be a story of Happiness, children painting a scene from their favourite story book and for the adults, painting or sketching a portrait of themselves. Do come along and have a happy time. All children are welcome to take part so why not produce a festival masterpiece and enter it in to the Children’s Summer Exhibition and see it exhibited at the Sir Peter Blake Gallery in Dartford? All materials are provided so all we need is you!


High/low, fast/slow, whatever your thrill, don’t forget the funfair will be open until late on both days!

Europa Weightlifting Club

Home to Olympians, Commonwealth Games medalists and UK medalists, the club was founded by Olympian and GB Coach, Andrew Callard in 2001. The club has now become one of the most recognized in the UK. Demonstrations and activities throughout the day will provide a general insight to the club and the sport.
