Fresh from England’s World Cup run of 2018, LIGHTNING SEEDS (are coming home) to headline the Main Stage. The band had a number of top hits including ‘Three Lions’, which topped the UK charts in both 1996 and 1998 selling over a million copies. One of Britain’s best known bands, they are guaranteed to get the crowd going with a party atmosphere.
BJÖRN AGAIN will be performing the greatest hits of ABBA, as the internationally acclaimed show acknowledged for singlehandedly initiating the ABBA revival comes to Dartford. Having amassed over 5,200 performances across 72 countries in 31 years, this is sure to get everyone up singing and dancing to the classics!
With a powerful live show featuring all the hits including ‘Groovy Train’ and ‘All Together Now’, THE FARM have an incredible back catalogue of eight UK top-forty singles and a number one album. They were the soundtrack for a generation, and enjoyed worldwide success. They are a fantastic addition to this year’s Dartford Festival lineup.
JAMES TAYLOR QUARTET
James Taylor, one of the great British instrumentalists of his generation, has taken his trademark howling Hammond sound to the masses for over 25 years with the JAMES TAYLOR QUARTET. Still famed for its upbeat, energetic live shows with no sign of slowing down, the band’s relentlessly entertaining tunes take inspiration from the rare-groove style funk of the 60s and 70s. Without doubt, the James Taylor Quartet are one of the most important jazz-pop crossover outfits in British live musical history.
WANNABE - THE SPICE GIRLS SHOW
WANNABE will be spicing up your life, celebrating the career of the world's biggest girl band, the Spice Girls. From the chart stomping 'Spice Up Your Life' through to the hip shaking 'Who Do You Think You Are?’; WANNABE will take you on a Spice World journey through the Spice Girls’ group and solo careers.
THE DUNWELLS, who were hugely influenced by Bob Dylan, the Beatles and Motown. Writing and performing their own tracks, these guys have extensively toured the US as well as supporting Bryan Adams on his UK stadium tour. They are currently preparing for the release of their third album, ‘Something in the Water’, due out September 2019.
RHYTHM OF THE 90’S
Since their inception in 2012, RHYTHM OF THE 90’S have become THE act to get any party started previously playing at Glastonbury, Isle of Wight and Latitude as well as main stage at Love Saves the Day, Mutiny and Victorious Festival – and now, lucky for us, the FREE Dartford Festival.
WHO ARE YOU - THE WHO TRIBUTE
Rocking out in Central Park will also be WHO ARE YOU UK - the UK’s hottest tribute to The Who. From the early hits of the mid-60’s to the rock classics of the 70’s and 80’s – every one is an absolute work of genius from composer Pete Townsend, Roger Daltrey, John Entwistle and Keith Moon.
NICK CORBIN has spent the last year touring with the likes of The Milk, Stone Foundation, Corduroy and The Spitfires. Alongside an even busier live schedule this year, Nick began recording his debut solo album in March. Expect an eclectic set of hard-hitting, soulful tunes with a distinctly British edge and keep your eyes peeled for new releases later this year.
OOGIE BOOGIE BAND
Ry Robson is a singer/songwriter and guitarist currently performing with his OOGIE BOOGIE BAND, who together play a high energy fusion of Roots, Boogie, 90's rnb/hip hop & Blues. Ry is known for his husky tones and praised for his passionate performances, and has been featured in various music publications with his music being aired on radio and music television stations all over the world.
MAVEN are a melodic rock band whose music ranges from crunching riffs to big melodic choruses. They have performed up and down the UK, including a sold out release show in London and are now gearing up for a big 2019 releasing 3 new singles from their new ep, 'Am I Awake?'.
