The Museum is situated in the same building as Dartford Library, next to the main entrance to Central Park on Market Street. There is a small "Pay and Display" car park opposite the Museum. Other town centre car parks are all within easy walking distance. Disabled parking is available on the street outside the Museum.
The nearest station is Dartford which is served by trains coming from Charing Cross and Victoria via the Sidcup, Bexleyheath and Greenwich lines. Trains from Gravesend and Gillingham (Kent) also serve the station. The Museum is a 10 minute walk from the station, through the town.
Several buses serve Dartford town centre. They include: 96, 428, 476, 480, 490 and 492. The buses travelling from Bluewater/ Gravesend stop at the Market Street bus stand, near the Museum. Buses travelling in the opposite direction (from Erith/ Crayford) stop in Home Gardens. Fastrack Routes A and B both stop in Home Gardens.
Follow signs through the town centre towards the Museum, Library or Central Park. The Museum is situated in the same building as the Library, next to the main entrance to Central Park.
