Dartford is home to a wide variety of sports and boasts some of the best sporting facilities in the south east. These include an Olympic standard Judo Centre, an eco-friendly sustainable home for Dartford Football Club and Dartford Valley RFC, which opened in 2019.
The Judo Centre at Stone Lodge is a state-of-the-art centre and one of the most impressive judo facilities outside Japan. The centre has played a key role in the build up to Olympic Games since Beijing 2008.
The Princes Park Stadium has taken the town by storm since opening in November 2006. A capacity crowd of 4,100 saw the Darts return home after 14 years away.

Dartford Judo Club
The Dartford Judo Club was opened by HRH The Princess Royal on Thursday 23 March 2006, and became a key coaching centre for the British Judo Association.
Designed to international standard specifications, the Dojo is the finest purpose-built Judo centre in the country, boasting two full-sized mats, space for up to 400 spectators, a fully furbished weight training room.
The centre also includes seminar and meeting space, catering facilities and a social area.

Princes park, stadium, football club
Princes Park Stadium was built by the Council and opened in November 2006.
The stadium provides a home for Dartford Football Club as well as a range of other facilities such as the community football pitches, mini pitches and Princes Park golf course.
