Being healthy isn't just about our physical health; it's also about our emotional wellbeing. We all lead such busy lives it's sometimes easy to neglect how we're feeling inside.

Kent County Council has loads of helpful info on where to go if you need help and support. This includes info on services including Live Well Kent, Kent Children and Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMHS) and Release the Pressure.

Young Kent support young people aged 8 to 25 years to build their confidence and skills to overcome their barriers, realise their true potential and enjoy brighter futures – 01622 351150.

Rise Above is where young people can find interesting and useful stuff from the web and beyond to get them all talking about the things that matter to them.

YoungMinds is a national charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. If you're worried about a child or young person's behaviour or mental health, you can call their Parents' Helpline – 0808 802 5544.

The Mix takes on the embarrassing problems, weird questions, and please-don't-make-me-say-it-out-loud thoughts that people under 25 have in order to give them the best support through their digital and phone services – 0808 808 4994.

North Kent Mind provides a wide range of services for people who experience mental health problems. Their services include supported housing, low cost counselling, agoraphobic support, activity sessions, springboard, social groups, person centred planning, self-management courses, peer-led activities and open sessions – 01322 291380.

Community Link Service is run by Porchlight who work alongside GP surgeries to help people address any social issues that are impacting on their ability to live independently. To access their help speak to your GP and ask them to complete a referral form for you. Or, you can call their Helpline direct – 0800 567 7699.

Community Inclusion and Mentoring Service is run by Porchlight and works with people who want to feel differently about their day-to-day life and would like support to build their confidence and enjoy life more through education, activities, sport or developing friendship groups – 07788 383799.
