Street Care and Cleaning
The Borough's street cleansing service is operated by Urbaser
Street Sweeping:
All public roads are swept at least once every four weeks and many areas, such as shopping precincts, are swept more often.

Kent Highway Services, Kent County Council's highways arm, is responsible for most local highway matters including: street lighting, repairing pot holes, grass verge cutting, road closures, highway drainage and culverts, bollards, salting roads and snow clearance and highways safety schemes.
Litter and Dog Bins:
The Council provides, and regularly empties over 600 litter and dog faeces bins across the Borough.
Graffiti and flyposting
The Council takes acts of vandalism very seriously and will endeavour to remove graffiti within 24 hours of notification
Fly tipping
Fly tipping is an increasing problem throughout the Borough, both on Council land and privately owned sites.This page lets you report it to us

Drainage queries for properties of all ages should be referred to the water company to which you pay sewerage rates. If you are in doubt as to which company this is, check the accounts you receive
