Dartford Borough Council's hugely successful Summer Season of Outdoor Theatre is returning to Central Park's Open Air Theatre . It's perfect for family and friends, bring a blanket or chair and a picnic to the town's purpose-built outdoor stage set in
beautiful surroundings.

Nell Gwynn  – Jessica Swale

Originally premiered at Shakespeare’s Globe in 2015 and the recipient of the 2016 Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, the play charts the rise of an unlikely heroine in 1660 London, from her roots in Coal Yard Alley, to her success as Britain’s most celebrated actress, and her hard won place in the heart of the King.

Performed by Changeling Wednesday 3rd July at 7.30pm, sponsored by Dartford Borough Council, tickets £5 for Dartford residents and £15 for non-residents.

Frankenstein – Mary Shelley

From the company that brought us last year’s brilliant ‘Pirates of Penzance’, this brand new production features a fully orchestrated music score, spectacular stage effects, puppetry and flashes of wickedly dark humour.

Performed by Illyria Wednesday 24th July at 7.30pm, sponsored by Dartford Borough Council, tickets £5 for Dartford residents and £15 for non-residents.

The Winter's Tale – William Shakespeare

A wonderful fairy story set in Sicily and Bohemia, and featuring all the crazy antics of the Changeling companies’ magic, plus beautiful costumes and a gripping story, this is sure to be a fitting way to conclude another stellar season of performances.

Performed by Changeling Wednesday 7th August at 7.30pm, sponsored by Dartford Borough Council, tickets £5 for Dartford residents and £15 for non-residents.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday 26th April via Performances at the Outdoor Theatre.
