Cardboard Mind - Leonard Gale

Dartford's Leonard Gale has been passionate about art since childhood.

Starting his artistic journey with clay sculptures, Leonard moved onto landscape paintings and more recently, cardboard art.

Drawing on his deep affection for animals for inspiration, Leonard's work captured a wide variety of wildlife from around the world.

Making The Glimmer Twins - Amy Goodman

In July of 2023, we were extremely proud to host Amy Goodman's work demonstrating how she created The Glimmer Twins - which immortalised two of Dartford's most famous sons, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, at One Bell Corner.

Following the unveiling of the statues, dignitaries and guests, including Keith Richards' own daughter and granddaughter, attended the gallery to see Amy Goodman's process for creating this celebration of Dartford's creative history.

The World Today - Dartford Arts Network

Creatives from Dartford Arts Network were inspired by the given them of The World Today.

The theme allowed artists to explore the ways in which our world is shaped by our perceptions and experiences.

This thought-provoking exhibit was a chance to spark conversations of personal experiences and broader societal contexts.
