Recently, you may have noticed some changes around Dartford town centre as part of the Council's work to make it a safer, more pleasant and vibrant place for the whole community to enjoy.
The Council’s local plan, the Dartford Plan to 2037, identifies the town centre as a priority area for investment and growth. We believe it is critical to have a clear plan in place to ensure that this growth is delivered in a way that reflects the characteristics and opportunities of Dartford.
As a result, the Council is now preparing a Town Centre Masterplan, so that the whole local area can contribute and clearly see the long-term vision to improve our town and provide for local communities.
We’d like to hear from local people, businesses, workers and visitors to Dartford town centre about what they would like to see in the future. Your views will help build a masterplan for how Dartford will change for the better over the next 10 to 15 years.
Once published, the Town Centre Masterplan will help to show the potential benefits of local development, including new homes, along with new services and infrastructure to support them.
