Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs)
The below SPDs have been brought forward since the Core Strategy was adopted. Related and background information to these SPDs can be found on the Archive page.
The Housing Windfall SPD PDF, 454.38 KB was adopted by Cabinet on 23 October 2014. New houses on sites that have not been previously identified by the Council for housing will be assessed against the SPD (and Development Policies Plan) elaborating on Core Strategy policy CS10. The Parking Standards SPD provides guidance on parking standards in the borough for all locations and land uses. It includes parking space requirements for cycles and vehicles, including provision for people with impaired mobility; and minimum size requirements for parking bays, garages, car barns and car ports. Guidance on design and management of parking provision is also included.
The Parking Standards SPD was adopted by the Council on 26 July 2012.
The Northern Gateway SPD was adopted by the Council on 5 April 2012.
