Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensers

You must tell the Council in writing, if you have a cooling tower or evaporative condenser, unless

  • it contains no water that's exposed to air
  • its water supply is not connected
  • its electrical supply is not connected

To register a device, download and complete the registration form, sending it to the address on the form.

You must also notify the Local Authority in writing of any changes or if the device is decommissioned.
