Have your say on how well we’re doing

The Council is committed to improving its services to tenants and we'd very much like to hear your views.

To help us achieve this, we’re carrying out a survey where every Council tenant will have the opportunity tell us how well we’re doing as a landlord. The survey will be used to calculate the annual tenant satisfaction measures, which will be reported to the Regulator of Social Housing as well as published here.

An independent company called TLF Research will be carrying out the survey on our behalf, which should only take around 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

We encourage all tenants to take part in the survey, when invited by text, email, post or telephone. The survey is open from 31st July and closes on 10th September 2023.

What are tenant satisfaction measures?

The Regulator of Social Housing has introduced tenant satisfaction measures that let tenants see how well their social housing landlord is performing.

There are 22 tenant satisfaction measures covering things that matter to tenants. Some tenant satisfaction measures come from management information we as a landlord hold about our services, and some come from what tenants' tell us through surveys.

When can I see the tenant satisfaction measures?

The first official set of tenant satisfaction measures for 2023-24 can be viewed here and in the Link newsletter next year, and will be published annually.

We’ve been working hard to prepare for their introduction, and at the end of last year, we carried out a pilot survey before they officially went live. This is so we could get a head start and learn as much as possible about how best to seek tenants’ views, and to learn from the results. The results of the pilot survey are available in our summer 2023 'The Link' newsletter.
