Dartford Markets will run for three consecutive days this week to help locals get their last minute Christmas items.
Great gifts and festive food will be on offer alongside live music, children’s rides and a visit from Father Christmas this week, as Dartford Borough Council adds an additional market on Friday.
Building on the success of our town centre entertainment that has taken place throughout this year, Cohesion Plus is organising entertainment to take place across all three days.
On Thursday there will be live music and a DJ at One Bell Corner. The following day will see similar entertainment, along with rides, Christmas mascots roaming around the town centre and a face painter.
Rides and a DJ will return on Saturday, along with a special visit from Father Christmas between 11am and 1pm.
Free parking will be available at Acacia and Mansion House car parks on Thursday and Saturday.
Dartford Borough Council Leader Jeremy Kite said: “We’ve had plenty to entertain visitors on our market days this year. We want to finish it in style with three days of festive fun.
“There will be Christmas stalls alongside our usual great traders, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Merry Christmas Dartford!”
