The gateway meeting
This meeting will usually be held on a monthly basis and is attended by the Nominated Officer (usually the Head of Development Management) and the Nominated Member (usually the Chair of the Dartford Planning Committee as well as a Democratic Services officer who will take minutes and record the outcome.
The meeting will consider whether the application should be delegated to officers for a decision or whether it should be reported to the Dartford Planning Committee for a decision. It will not pre-determine the outcome of the application and the application will not be determined at this "gateway meeting".
