How was the strategy produced?
The riverside strategy was produced in 2024 by consultants Arup and Dartford Borough Council (with funding and support as a pioneer project from the Environment Agency and Dartford Borough Council), and with input from a range of local organisations.
It is informed by desk-based research by a multidisciplinary team, specialist knowledge and analysis by the Environment Agency, local site assessment, and other evidence including studies commissioned for the Dartford Plan’s evidence base.
