Procedure
Once the case officer has requested or agreed to the amendment of an application, the applicant/agent must email the amendment(s) to Planning Amendments.
Please note that the maximum size of the attachment is 20MB. The covering email must include the application reference, the date on which the case officer agreed that amendments could be made and confirmation of when the amendment fee will be paid/has been paid. The case officer must be copied in.
The email should be in the following format:
Dear Planning Technical Officers
RE: AMENDEDAND/OR ADDITIONAL DRAWINGS/INFORMATION - PLANNING REFERENCE – APPLICATION SITE ADDRESS
Please find attached amended and/or additional drawings/information for the above application. The revised drawing numbers are: [list revised drawing numbers]
Please supersede drawing numbers: [list superseded drawing numbers]
The revised/additional information are [list documents]
Please supersede [list documents].
The case officer - NAME OF CASE OFFICER – has agreed to the submission of the amended and/or additional drawings/information on INSERT DATE.
I can confirm that no further amendments/revised drawings/information are anticipated at this stage.
I have/have not [delete where relevant] agreed to an extension of time for the determination of the planning application.
I can confirm that I have made/will make payment of [INSERT FEE AMOUNT] the application amendment fee on [INSERT DATE]. My reference for the payment made is (INSERT if applicable].
I understand that the acceptance of these amendments is at the discretion of the case officer and that the acceptance of the amendments/additional information will not guarantee a positive determination and is ‘without prejudice’ to the Council’s normal decision-making process.
NAME
The in-application amendment fee can be made by telephone on 01322 343434 by quoting ‘amended plans’ plus the planning application reference number.
All amended plans should have an updated drawing number to reference the change i.e. ‘revision B’
