Any person who lives, works or studies in the Borough of Dartford, including children and young people aged under 18 and/or persons registered on the electoral role for the Borough, may submit a petition. See our Petitions Service Privacy Notice.
The Council will not respond to e-Petitions which are submitted by other means eg: email chain/pyramid. e-Petitions will be rejected, if submitted by other means. e-Petitions are presented on the e-Petitions website in the order in which they are received. All e-Petitions, whether accepted or rejected, will be maintained on the Council's website for 3 months, from the date of receipt and then archived. e-Petitions must follow the same guidelines PDF, 677.83 KB as paper petitions.
During politically sensitive periods, such as prior to an election, politically controversial material may need to be restricted.
