- Lieutenant Ernest Norval John Clarke, Royal Engineers. Lived in Chatham but previously had lived at 24 High Street, Dartford, and had attended Dartford Grammar School 1917-18. Died 4.2.46, aged 43, on active service in Burma (now Myanmar). Buried in Kranji War Cemetery, Singapore, and commemorated on the Dartford Grammar School In Memoriam Panel.
