- Trooper Victor Alexander Cooke, 15th/19th The King’s Royal Hussars, Royal Armoured Corps. His parents lived at 26 The Crescent, Greenhithe. Died 18.5.40, aged 19, cause unknown. Buried in Adegem Canadian War Cemetery, Belgium, and commemorated on the Greenhithe War Memorial.
