- Lieutenant Frederick Deryn Hickman, 51 (The Westmorland and Cumberland Yeomanry) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery. Lived in Bexleyheath but attended Dartford Grammar School 1927-34. Died 24.12.41, aged 24, of wounds received in action. Buried in Benghazi War Cemetery, Libya, and commemorated on the Dartford Grammar School In Memoriam Panel.
