- Sergeant (Navigator/Bomber) Donald Mauldon Homer, 13 Operational Training Unit, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He had grown up in Dartford and his mother still lived at 73, Spring Vale. Died 16.4.43, aged 21, killed on active service. Buried in Watling Street Cemetery, Dartford.
